I finally participated in Jake Parker's Inktober challenge! I decided to collect only a few images of my favorites from the month and put them together here:

CSU Summer Arts!

CSU Summer Arts was probably the best thing I could have ever experienced! I was so honored to be a part of such an amazing class and to get to work alongside Nickelodeon professionals to create our very own TV series pitch bible! Within just two weeks we gained more knowledge and experience about what dedication and hard work go into creating an original television series. I got to meet some amazing students and learn alongside some of the kindest, and most talented Nickelodeon professionals!

Creating a pitch bible alongside two other classmates- who I hadn't had the pleasure to meet until this class- was the most challenging and rewarding thing I have ever put myself through as a student. The creativity and process was all so overwhelming in the best way possible! I know I'll never get to have an experience like this again, and will be forever grateful for the time and dedication the Nickelodeon team gave us. Thank you Nickelodeon! And thank you to all my amazingly talented and awesome classmates- it wouldn't have been as great of an experience without you!

Here's some collected pieces of my work throughout the two weeks of exploring ideas and coming up with our series development:

And here's some pictures we got to take of our whole class with our guest Nickelodeon artist of the day!

Sword Animation

I thought working with locators again would be a struggle for this project but it was actually enjoyable, pretty pleased with the results :)

Here's a link to view a better quality video:

"Crew of You"

Additionally with this project, we got to create a setting with "mysterious lighting and stage choices", here's the painting that came from my results...

This has been one of my favorite projects this semester! It's a very bizarre project, unlike other projects I've done before, but Barron Storey has been such an inspiring and wonderful instructor. Can't wait to see what the rest of the semester has in store!

Character Ideations

These were really fun to do! I loved playing with the different shapes and keeping them as rough and simple as possible...
